Polar Black is a fully integrated creative agency specializing in event production, immersive brand experiences, and creative design. Established in London in 2011, the agency operates globally, working with luxury, lifestyle, fashion, and tech brands such as Hermès, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, and Apple. With a team of 35 across creative, design, and production, Polar Black has headquarters in London and offices in Paris, New York, and LA. The agency is LGBTQ+ managed and known for producing high-end, immersive experiences.

Role Overview

This 6-month internship offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience within Polar Black’s Design department, with the potential for full-time employment. The role involves supporting the design team in creating compelling visual concepts, designing ready-to-print artwork, and assisting with venue layouts and branding materials. It is ideal opportunity for candidates passionate about luxury brand aesthetics, experiential design, and contemporary culture, with a strong foundation in graphic design and creative execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the design team with creative concepts, image research, and proposal design
• Create ready-to-print artwork for small and large-scale graphics
• Prepare briefs for freelance designers
• Develop venue layouts and floorplans
• Design assets including 2D mock-ups, invitations, e-vites, branded signage, set designs, and printed collateral

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in Adobe CC Suite, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator
• Strong understanding of luxury brand aesthetics and experiential design
• Interest in contemporary culture, fashion, art, and design
• Knowledge of graphic design and brand immersion
• Illustration and freehand drawing skills (bonus)
• Basic experience in 3D software and rendering (bonus)
• Familiarity with Vectorworks or similar CAD software (bonus)
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Proactive, creative thinker with a team-oriented mindset
