The Studio

Vibrant and game-changing events company are seeking a talented designer with print and experiential experience to join their growing team. This company have grown from an ambitious start-up to a worldwide leader in their sector, known for their big ideas, ambition and innovation.

This company offers a 4 day working week as standard and works on a hybrid model, with 1 day working from home and the remaining 3 days in the office.

The Opportunity 

This is a crucial hire for this company as the successful candidate will lead and support the creative team to deliver their events on time and on budget. You will have the opportunity to bring design solutions to life at their experiential events, crafting thoughtful, fun and engaging design in line with the style and ethos of this company across multiple varied events throughout the year. 

Reporting into the Art Director, this position will oversee two Midweight Designers to ensure all work from the team aligns to the goals of the brand. You will also work closely with the Marketing Project Manager to ensure all projects are executed efficiently and on-schedule. 

This role would suit a designer with previous experience working within the events and experiential industry. 

The Ideal Candidate

Has 7 or more years’ experience working within the design industry, either within a creative agency or in-house, with at least 2 years working at a senior designer level. 

Has strong experience working within events and experiential design with a strong, vibrant portfolio containing examples of large-format print work. 

Has a strong understanding of wayfinding design and signage strategy.

Strong artworking skills with knowledge of best practice in print design; a demonstrated ability to take designs through production for both print and digital applications is a plus

Knowledge of additional digital software such as Figma is nice to have and an understanding of SketchUp or any other 3D platform is a plus.

Someone who can translate complex ideas into clear, visually compelling designs. 

A self-starter who is an enthusiastic team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who is able to work collaboratively across teams.
