The Studio

Independent and unique design studio specialising in brand experience and events is looking for an established Production Director to join their talented team.  This studio has helped clients to create memorable experiences in new, immersive and refreshing ways that connect with audiences and achieve commercial results.  They are now looking for a Production Director with significant experience working in events and/or experiential agencies, confident delivering projects and with deep knowledge of the entire production process.

The Opportunity

You’ll have the opportunity to lead and produce large-scale projects and activations, including the full development of projects from initial conceptual stages through to final delivery, ensuring a high level of quality and efficiency.  Working with a multi-disciplined and highly collaborative team you’ll be a natural leader, capable of inspiring other team members and creating ways of working that bring out the very best in projects and the team around you.  We’d love you to have strong experience of managing budgets, schedules and timelines whilst scoping out the commercial viability of projects and reporting on P&L updates.  This person reports into the senior team and will work with them very closely on making decisions on client accounts and wider business interests. 

You’ll have access to some exciting clients within the fashion, beauty and lifestyle sectors and take on a good level of responsibility for leading day to day client contact including, proactively pitching ideas and identifying opportunities for growing client accounts and revenue generation. 

The team has a busy workload, and you’ll work closely with them to realise their full potential through coaching and ensuring that everyone is getting the chance to take on new challenges through an evenly distributed project workload.

The Ideal Candidate

Has significant experience at senior level, working at experiential and events agencies.

Will need to have experience working with clients in the fashion, beauty and lifestyle brand sectors to easily understand the client’s vision and be able to bring an awareness of current trends and insights into the role.

Is a natural leader who inspires clients and the team around them.

Is a confident communicator with outstanding presentation skills. 

Will need to be adaptable, open, creatively minded and resilient under deadlines.

Has a genuine interest in sustainability and looks at experience production with a future-focused and environmental lens.
