Job Type: Full-time 6-month contract with the potential to become permanent.
Salary: £40-50k pro rata.

We’re looking for a positive, proactive and ambitious Senior Digital Designer to join the Crown and Co. team. You might be an experienced senior designer or a middle-weight designer looking for your next challenge. Either way, you can lead digital marketing projects from concept to final delivery, whether it’s a website, seasonal campaign or digital ads–primarily for clients in the fintech space.

This role will start as a fixed-term position and after six months could turn into a full-time position if the fit is right.

Your skills and experience

• You have a strong portfolio and 5 years of experience across various projects in an agency environment. We’re especially keen to see what you’ve done across digital marketing (e.g. websites, ad campaigns and social) as this will form the majority of your work.
• You can develop high-quality visual designs with a keen eye for typography, accessibility, colour theory, grid systems and knowledge of user interface approaches across a range of digital platforms including responsive web and app.
• You’re a strong communicator and can clearly articulate your design thinking and process with robust rationale for your design decisions.
• You can be both tactical and strategic with an ability to think through business objectives, technical implications, and users’ needs to create smart, cost-effective solutions.
• You’re a creative problem solver, you push boundaries, and you are an ambitious and exciting designer.
• You can build rapport with clients and will be comfortable working closely with our client’s marketing, design, and product teams.
• You can self-manage projects and deliver within the constraints of deadlines – you know when it’s time to stop iterating, make a decision, and ship it.
• You’re a good team player and people enjoy working with you, but you can also work autonomously.
• You have a strong ‘care factor’ – you put a layer of empathy and care on top of everything you do.

Tools and workplace

• You’re a Figma and Adobe CC pro.
• You explore new tools and ways of executing work.
• Video/animation skills would be handy but it’s not a deal-breaker.
• Our hybrid team works between our East London studio (3 days per week) and home.
