Purpose of the Role

We are a dynamic and forward-thinking company in the fashion and motherhood industry, seeking an exceptional Head of Graphic Designer to lead our campaign asset strategy across various channels. As a market leader, we strive to create visually captivating and highly effective assets that communicate both fashion and function, while incorporating credible motherhood expertise. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on our brand’s visual identity and play a key role in shaping our customer’s experience across multiple touchpoints.

The Head of Graphic Design will be responsible for leading the development and execution of our campaign asset strategy. This individual will oversee a wide range of design projects, including e-commerce assets, market-leading performance marketing, brand identity, typography strategy, video ads, email campaigns, on-site product assets, direct mail print strategy, packaging, in-store collateral, partnership and wholesale digital assets, and localized homepages across e-commerce platforms. The successful candidate will possess a strong creative vision, exceptional design skills, and a deep understanding of fashion and motherhood trends.

 

**THIS ROLE IS A 9 MONTH MAT COVER – Jan 2024 onwards**

 

Responsibilities:

  • Campaign Asset Strategy: Develop and lead the overall strategy for campaign assets across various channels, ensuring alignment with brand objectives and target audience preferences.
  • E-commerce Assets: Create visually appealing and conversion-focused assets for e-commerce platforms, including website banners, product imagery, and promotional materials.
  • Performance Marketing: Collaborate with the performance marketing team to create compelling and high-performing visuals for digital advertising campaigns, including social media ads, display ads, and paid search.
  • Brand Identity: Maintain and evolve the brand’s visual identity, ensuring consistency across all design deliverables and channels. Develop brand guidelines and oversee their implementation.
  • Typography Strategy: Develop and implement a cohesive typography strategy that aligns with the brand’s tone and resonates with the target audience.
  • Email Campaigns: Design engaging and visually appealing email campaigns that effectively communicate fashion trends, product functionality, and insights from credible motherhood experts.
  • On-Site Product Assets: Develop innovative ways to call out product unique selling propositions through on-site product assets, ensuring a seamless and immersive customer experience.
  • Direct Mail Print Strategy: Lead the design and execution of impactful direct mail print materials, including catalogues, brochures, and promotional mailers.
  • Packaging: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design visually appealing and on-brand packaging solutions that enhance the product experience and reflect the brand’s values.
  • In-Store Collateral: Create engaging and eye-catching designs for in-store collateral, including signage, point-of-sale materials, and visual merchandising displays.
  • Partnership & Wholesale Digital Assets: Collaborate with the partnerships and wholesale teams to create digital assets that effectively communicate the brand’s value proposition to various partners and retailers.
  • Localisation: Design and customize localised homepages for different markets and regions, ensuring cultural sensitivity and alignment with local preferences.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in graphic design, with a focus on fashion and lifestyle brands.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating a deep understanding of campaign asset creation across various channels.
  • Proficiency in design software and tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite (XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and video editing software (Premiere Pro and/or DaVinci Resolve).
  • Solid understanding of typography, colour theory, composition, and layout design principles.
  • Knowledge of e-commerce best practices and trends, including responsive design and user experience optimization.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey design concepts and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
