THE ROLE

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate Senior Graphic Designer to join the Karen Millen creative design team, delivering fashion forward creative across many channels within the business. Reporting to the Creative Manager whilst collaborating and delivering assets across the marketing, e-commerce, product and studio teams. This role is pivotal in ensuring that all concepts are exemplary in their design and delivered with consistency across all channels.

 

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING?

You will be responsible for the creation of a range of creative artwork and concepts for seasonal campaigns and other projects. Managing the more junior members of the team as well as supporting the Creative Manager and Head of Creative with project development; proactively seeking to continuously improve the creative output within the business. You will be confident talking with other stakeholders within the business to deliver on and manage any briefs that are given to the creative design team.

 

  • You will be responsible for the creation of design solutions to briefed projects across several channels such as Social, Email, E-commerce and Press
  • Maintain brand consistency throughout your work
  • Great repro knowledge and digital knowledge
  • Design/produce Social Media Content
  • Design/produce print related marketing material
  • Design/produce Internal/External presentations and decks for management
  • Communicate concepts clearly and effectively to the Creative Manager
  • Conceptualise promotions and design across channels
  • Exceptional file and asset management
  • Follow brand guidelines and maintain brand image in everything you do
  • Understand the importance of being commercially focused and actively consider how our creative output can contribute to sales
  • Work closely with wider teams from ideation to delivery with quality expectations and deadlines met at all times.
  • Maintain an excellent level of brand guardianship at all times

 

ABOUT YOU

You think with a fashion forward mindset, always staying up to date with the latest trends in your industry. You have a strong creative eye for detail and consistency, ensuring that we are always delivering the Karen Millen brand look and feel in everything we do. You’re an agile worker with efficient time management skills. You work well with others and have experience with mentoring and managing more junior creatives. You are a passionate creative who is willing to bring new and exciting ideas to the table. You have strong editorial design skills. You will be innovative and be open to trying new things.

 

  • 3 years in industry
  • Must have a great working knowledge of the Adobe package: Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, XD , After Effects or other animation or video software.
  • Keen interest in the Karen Millen brand
  • Punctual and organised
  • Great communicator and collaborator
  • Creative awareness and an ability to combine an innovative approach with commercial ideas
  • Flexible and enjoy working in a high pace, fast moving and changing environment
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Commitment, initiative, drive and self-motivation
  • Ability to work well with others and able to influence and communicate effectively across all levels
  • Experience in presenting and working closely with Senior Management
  • Confident communicator with strong communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent organisation and project management
