Made by ON is a digital product agency with deep roots in design and technology, combining enduring execution with relentless optimisation to deliver digital excellence.

Our deep experience creating compelling digital experiences is built on agile, expert-driven teams that prioritise excellence and efficiency. We chase clear, ambitious KPIs through rigorous, goal-oriented strategies, whilst our transparent, collaborative process ensures consistent progress. Our strength comes from our team’s diversity of skills, perspectives and interests – combined with a global outlook – to help create resonant digital experiences.

Our work spans a wide range of sectors to balance creative expression and sustainable best practices. From early stage companies to iconic global brands, we collaborate with world-class teams to deliver meaningful results for clients including Greenpeace, H&M, London Design Festival and Live Nation, as well as connecting brand and digital experiences with renowned creative agencies like Koto, Pentagram, PORTO ROCHA, TEMPLO and others.

About the role

We are seeking a creative designer who can marry technical rigour and creative excellence, with deep empathy for brand expression. The ideal candidate possesses a keen design sensibility, stays at the forefront of creative technologies, and leverages the right tools for the job to bring boundary-pushing ideas to life.

  • This is a permanent, full-time position
  • We support flexible hybrid and fully remote working, while also having a permanent office in London EC1
  • You’ll work alongside a multidisciplinary team of developers and designers to concept and deliver progressive digital projects for clients and internal teams
  • Client projects span a range of different industries and challenges

Responsibilities

This is a varied role, and will include:

  • Shaping and contributing to creative concepts around a brief
  • Execution of wireframes, prototypes, design concepts, and design systems, for a range of digital experiences and digital products
  • Presenting work to both internal and external audiences. Leading and participating in client meetings and workshops
  • Being a proactive voice of design on projects – and helping to shape both scope and the approach to meeting objectives
  • Working closely with developers to ensure that design handoffs are seamless, and that the final output meets the design standard

About you

We are looking for someone who is motivated, technologically savvy, communicative, collaborative and detail-oriented. The kind of person who loves to problem solve and is excited by new ideas.

  • A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Suite
  • Experience with Adobe After Effects or similar animation tools, or animation with code
  • Demonstrably solid understanding of core design principles
  • Confident, presentable and articulate; and able to present clearly to both colleagues and clients
  • Experience with user journeys and wireframing
  • Works collaboratively, and possesses good time management skills
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Nice-to-have: an understanding of modern HTML and CSS
  • Nice-to-have: a good grasp of accessibility for web
  • Nice-to-have: experience of 3D tools such as Blender

Benefits

We expect a lot from our people, but also make sure that you have the support you need to deliver and to grow – both personally and professionally. As well as working with a dynamic, diverse and multidisciplinary team, you get:

  • A competitive salary
  • 25 days paid holiday per year, plus UK bank holidays
  • 8 days of learning and development per year
  • Health insurance
  • Work from home equipment
  • We’ll contribute to your home internet
  • Mac laptop
  • Additional benefits with each year of service
