Video Editor (Part-time/Contract/Freelance)

We are seeking a talented Video Editor with a keen eye for social media trends and a passion for crafting engaging content. This role is ideal for a junior or mid-weight editor hungry for creative opportunities. The position requires a strong understanding of editing for platforms like TikTok and Instagram Reels, with motion graphics skills being a significant advantage.

You will play a vital role in producing content for fashion shows and regular monthly client projects. The role starts ASAP. Please state your day rate.

The Role

Strong understanding of fashion content.

Provide creative input during brainstorming sessions and project planning.

Edit engaging videos tailored for social media platforms, primarily TikTok and Instagram Reels.

Assist in the production of content for fashion shows, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery.

Collaborate with the creative team to develop and execute monthly content for various clients.

Incorporate motion graphics into video projects to enhance storytelling.

Ensure all video content aligns with brand guidelines and client expectations.

Stay updated with the latest trends in social media video content to ensure relevance.

The Candidate

Proven experience in video editing, particularly for social media platforms.

Proficiency with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and After Effects.

Motion graphics skills are a significant plus.

Strong understanding of current social media trends and best practices.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote or freelance capacity.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Organised, detail-oriented, and capable of meeting tight deadlines.

A creative thinker with a passion for storytelling through video.
