The Studio

Working onsite for a global premium brand, in the health, beauty, and lifestyle space. The studio is currently in Central London but will soon be moving into a newly developed sustainable building in SW London, where you can enjoy the beautiful, landscaped gardens and surroundings.

The Opportunity

Working within a small but exciting team, you will work as a senior designer across multiple aspects of design, from packaging to presentations to key visuals and more. You’ll be able to conceptualise through initial scamping and then be able to bring your ideas to life through Mac visuals. If you can use 3D software to optimise your designs, then this is a massive bonus. You’ll be working within a small team, so your communication and personable manner are key. This is a client facing role, and the opportunity is currently part-time and hybrid, working three days a week, two of which are in the office, and one will be from home. However, as the role progresses, you’ll need to be able to flex into more days if needed.

Scope of Role

● Early Concept Visuals: Collaborate with the marketing team to create preliminary visual concepts for product launches, campaigns, and other brand initiatives. These visuals should align with the brand’s guidelines and creative vision.

● Packshots: Design visually appealing and informative packshots for products, ensuring they reflect the brand’s new design guidelines and effectively communicate product features.

● Presentation Beautification: Elevate the quality of presentations by adding design elements, graphics, and illustrations to create engaging and professional materials.

● Quick and Simple Adaptive Design: Adapt existing designs and assets for various channels and formats. Maintain consistency across all materials.

● Light design explores in addition to adaptation.

● Speed and Agility: Prioritise tasks effectively and deliver high-quality designs within tight deadlines, remaining flexible and adaptable to changes in project requirements.

● Communication and Iteration: Work closely with the marketing team, receiving feedback and iterating on designs promptly to ensure quick turnaround and alignment with project network timings.

● Brand Guidelines Adherence: Ensure all design work follows the brand’s visual guidelines, maintaining brand consistency and integrity across all materials.

● Collaborative Approach: Collaborate with the brand marketing team and other designers to develop ideas and contribute to a cohesive design strategy.

Responsibilities

● Lead creative conversations and contribute to strategic ideas.

● Ensure you have a good understanding of the chosen idea and are able to confidently interpret it, using it as a springboard to create strong, differentiated brand solutions.

● Clearly communicate creative ideas through the creative process to deliver on a project brief.

● Provoke and push creative boundaries, bringing ideas and influences from the outside world to create connected brand experiences.

● Oversee all your design projects, from conception to delivery.

● You will be accountable for keeping track of the project and making sure that you are seen to be delivering with confidence.

● Make logical brand-led choices

● Show excellent knowledge of portfolio architecture.

● Put yourself in the position of the consumer when assessing your creativity.

● Ensure that our work and ideas are aligned to the brief.

● Build compelling and impactful case studies to promote us and our work to the wider business.

● Offer a creative voice and support on other projects where people may be struggling. Capacity permitting.

● Supply concise and unambiguous presentations to the team.

● Meet deadlines and collaborate with the team. If it is not possible to meet the deadline, you are required to communicate this as early as possible in order to prevent the project from suffering any unnecessary issues.

● Question the brief with the team constructively. We are a team after all and it’s important that we build the right foundations right from the start.

● Present your ideas with energy, confidence, and enthusiasm

The Ideal Candidate

As a person, you’ll be naturally proactive, bringing ideas to the table and delivering on more than a prescriptive ask.
