We are looking for an ambitious and experienced senior designer to work across SheerLuxe and its supplements, working on a variety of digital creatives including site assets, editorial layouts, commercial advertorial and email design. You will be motivated to join a team with the collective vision to elevate our brand and set new standards for digital design excellence.

As one of our senior designers you will be responsible for the look and feel of creative and design across editorial and commercial layouts across SheerLuxe, and our supplements, working closely with our Fashion & Creative Director to ensure best in class design across all touchpoints of the business.

This role will manage one junior designer and together with our Managing Senior Designer, continually develop the team and work to elevate the SheerLuxe brand.

ABOUT THE ROLE

COMMERCIAL

Management of all commercial design across SL and all supplements;

Responsibility for management and creative on commercial design across SheerLuxe and supplements, coming up with creative solutions for unique designs & creating engaging layouts that fit with the SheerLuxe aesthetic.

EDITORIAL

Lead and manage design on editorial layouts, creating assets where necessary to bring features to life and create design led engaging layouts for editorial news stories;

Full editorial overview on design/layouts across all supplements;

Lead on layout module for all articles, selecting hero imagery, creating designed assets;

Lead on digital design for any new or seasonal content launches, such gift guides, city guides etc; and

Management of design across all SL supplements: SL Middle East, SLMan, LuxeGen, Gold Edition, Parenting Edition, Wedding Edition & Business Edition.

EMAIL

Overseeing the design of the SheerLuxe daily newsletter, giving direction and feedback on imagery and design.

ABOUT YOU

We’re looking for someone who can demonstrate a real understanding of the SheerLuxe brand – someone with exceptional design skills, creativity and meticulous with layouts;

You must have a strong understanding of digital publishing, ideally in the fashion industry;

You will have a mobile first approach to design;

You must have your finger on the pulse with new digital design, and how to optimise layouts for best user experience;

You will relish the speed of digital and be able to bring a new innovative design vision to life across our multiple publications;

We are looking for someone who will be proactive in developing ideas and concepts to evolve SL and our family of publications;

A passion for fonts is a must;

You will have a proven ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines with a positive, team focussed attitude;

Your strengths will lie in organisation and communication;

Expert knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe XD, Indesign and Photoshop;

Experienced in managing a small team desirable; and

UX & Figma knowledge desirable.

This role will suit someone with ambition and an appetite to develop in a fast-paced, growing business.

This role is based in our office in SW London.
