Role Summary
The Junior Graphic Designer is responsible for assisting in the creation and execution of the visual identity for the Anthropologie brand, focusing predominately on digital. This includes carrying out direction from the Senior Designer, along with the rest of the Creative team, for design and production of all facets of the brand. This position requires a hands-on approach to support the multiple creative projects that occur within the Design Team. This position offers opportunities for growth and creative development.
What You’ll Be Doing:
• Designing emails on a monthly basis, focused on marketing our brand to customers
• Re-working emails with translations for all Anthropologie territories
• Build and test emails
• Designing organic and paid social content for multiple platforms
• Designing digital site assets to support seasonal campaigns
• Participate in weekly meetings and critiques of work.
• Keep up to date with Anthropologie US trends and interpret accordingly, including fonts and design direction
• Liaise with the US office when necessary to gather information and or assets
• Supporting PR and Marketing teams with files for campaigns and events
• Support the Senior Designer and Creative team with ad hoc projects and store team’s POS requests
What You’ll Need:
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills
• Ability to generate multiple and distinct design concepts
• Excellent typographic skills and the ability to work in many different styles
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign (OS X)
• Knowledge of digital prepress and an understanding of HTML
• Brand appropriate illustration skills would be a bonus, along with print
• A portfolio that shows a strong ability to design for digital
