The Studio

An in-house studio for a financial services company.  The Studio is at the very heart of the client’s organisation and supports the business through the delivery of comprehensive and fully integrated marketing and business support solutions.  The Studio offers creative, digital and production expertise that combine to produce exceptional brand experiences in innovative and creative ways. This is a permanent role within a tight-knit team who work on a hybrid basis (2 days a week from the London Studio and 3 days working off site/from home).  Moving image is playing a big part in the work this team is producing as they continue to grow their offering.

The opportunity

We’re looking for an established and motivated Motion Designer with a love of animation. Working across a range of tasks, this person will be involved in creating engaging creative solutions from initial, conceptual and storyboard stages through to final delivery.  You’ll have the opportunity to work closely with a talented team of specialists as well as internal client teams to bring motion and animation into projects in new and exciting ways, across digital and social platforms.  You’ll be responsible for ensuring consistency of output both in terms of quality and brand representation and given the chance to produce some first-class work that you’ll be proud of.

Our ideal candidate

Will need to be confident at senior level and have a proven track record and creating impressive video and animation work.  You’ll need to have strong skills in animation, video editing, storyboarding and stylescapes and a good understanding of colour, theory, layout and typography,

Has in-depth knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, especially After Effects, and some experience of using Cinema 4D.

As well as a deep understanding of the creative process and production lifecycle, including workflow systems, methods and tools.

Should be innovative in their approach, bringing fresh ideas to projects that utilise emerging technologies and ways of working.

Will have experience managing multiple projects and working in a solutions focused way.
