Top 100 branding and digital design agency specialising in sustainability and tech with a restless ambition to create inspiring work are seeking a talented motion designer to join their team. It’s a really exciting time to join this agency as they bring in new projects with big goals and go from strength to strength.
This is a brand new role within this agency and the perfect opportunity for an enthusiastic motion designer to make their own. In this role, the successful candidate will help bring the agency’s brand creative to life through motion design, animation and some video work – this is a flexible role built around the skills of the individual, working on some super exciting clients in the sustainability and tech spaces. You will be working closely with their design and digital teams to offer your expertise on creative and technical aspects of projects in their studio.
From conceptual ideation to final technical delivery across multiple projects the successful candidate will be expected to edit and craft moving assets, films, and other forms of animation. You will show the ability to help this agency tell dynamic and engaging stories, be an amazing designer, encourage new ideas and stay ahead of current trends.
The Ideal Candidate
Has a minimum of 3 years’ experience with motion graphics film/video production within an agency, or in-house environment.
Core focus on digital and motion with strong visual, interactive, and graphic skills.
Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere, Illustrator, and Photoshop. Some knowledge of a 3D program would be nice to have.
Have a great understanding of design principles and work confidently with storyboards, typography, photography, illustration, and any kind of imagery necessary to produce motion design.
Be able to implement animation principles into branding and develop overarching concepts to guide motion graphics.
Design-driven with attention to detail as well as ability to think big.
Experience in managing multiple work streams and projects efficiently with excellent communication and organisational skills.
Driven and ambitious with the ability to apply your thinking to any brief.
A strong portfolio/reel, showcasing a variety of work.
